Quality Payments: Urgent action required to correct NHS Choices gateway criterion from the April 2017 review point

Quality Payments: Urgent action required to correct NHS Choices gateway criterion from the April 2017 review point

August 16, 2017

Community pharmacy contractors who only partly edited or validated their NHS Choices profile will have received an email from the NHS Business Services Authority (NHS BSA) on Thursday 10th August 2017 which requires urgent action.  Contractors are required to edit or validate three parts of their NHS Choices profile to meet the Gateway Criterion at the November review point.  These are:-

  • Pharmacy opening hours
  • The facilities the pharmacy provides, e.g. consulting room parking etc;
  • The services the pharmacy provides

Failure to take action could result in Gateway criteria not being met and subsequent loss of revenue.
